I have decided to take a stand and fight against the nasties!

Winter is coming and so are the coughs, sneezes, sore throats and everything else that makes you want to curl up in bed and never awaken. I seem to get sick on a daily basis when it comes to the chilly months so I have decided to take a stand and fight against the nasties.
Chomp on Vitamin C
First things first – Eating a whole box of Cadbury heroes may make you feel better temporarily but it won’t help you in the long run. Eating a varied healthy diet with lots of fruit and veggies will assist you in the fight against the body bugs. I suggest chomping on lots of vitamin C and iron rich foods such as oranges, clementines, satsumas, spinach, kale, kiwis and lemons. This will not only keep your energy levels up but give you plenty of immunity soldiers who will WWE Smack down those cold/flu viruses.
Vitamin D will give you a taste of Summer
Another downside of the winter days is the fact that the sun doesn’t make much of an appearance leaving us feeling blue and down. Boohoo Princess. Get yourself to your nearest Vitamin shop and buy yourself some Vitamin D tablets. Taking one a day will give you a little taste of summer and will surround you with a protective bikini. You can also find an array of vitamins which help.
Sleep, sleep and sleep

Sleep is the most beautiful thing in the whole world and my personal bae. Make sure your little head is getting plenty of rest and sleep especially if you come down with a poorly.
Have more Afternoon teas
Tea is another tool that can help when you’ve got a sore throat and feeling the chill. Not a fan of Tea then  Hot chocolate is also a winwin! So make sure your sipping plenty of fluids.
Your mum was always right to tell you to take a scarf.
Your mum was always right when she told you to take a scarf! Don’t be treading out in short skirts and boob tubes when it’s snowing. Double leggings and triple jumpers is where it’s at.
Keep yourself healthy and upbeat and you can really enjoy the magic of this season! Watch the grinch! Put up the tree and drink som nice hot tea! It’s the time of year to get away with it!
