Stripes were more common over at NYFW, which was expected, given that they went for a more relaxed vibe. Leading the way for this trend were Alexander Wang featuring striped jackets and trousers, which added to that cool, summery relaxed vibe. While DKNY opted for a more formal and structured look with pinstriped jackets and dresses. Rocking this trend is not hard to do, especially as stripes never really go out of fashion and they can practically be worn in every season. Below I show you how you can rock the stripe trend for less.

Off-the Shoulder trends were huge all over the London and the New York catwalks. With dresses, tops and robes, the designers were all putting their own unique take on this skin bearing look. Offset with feminine ruffles, black ribbon and bold colours, this was perhaps one of my favourite trends and one I am looking forward to rocking very soon! Below I show you how you can dare to bare those gorgeous shoulders!

Think bucket hats and shiny metallics, last season saw the filtration of the 70’s trend and this season it was the 80’s! I find the 80’s to be a much more fun time for fashion than the 70’s, it was a time for partying and just really living life and I think it really shows in the clothes on the catwalk. Find out below how you can wear those sequins like an a pro!

All the fabrics came out to play for fashion week this season and it was all about which one could bare the most skin – in a modest way of course! Grungy mesh, bright lace and delicate netting was used to accent or act as a cover up to some looks. Have a look below for some seductive, yet chic lace dresses!
